Program Manager - Nigeria

Interesting opportunity for a pharmacy professional with humanitarian experience, looking to move into programmes / operations:

VillageReach is seeking an Abuja-based Program Manager to support an initiative to strengthen last mile distribution systems for contraceptive, maternal and neonatal health commodities. Qualified candidates will have an advanced degree in public health, logistics, or related areas and at least eight years of experience managing health programs in Nigeria. Knowledge of reproductive and maternal heath commodities and/or public health supply chains is strongly preferred.

VillageReach is an NGO that develops solutions to critical health system challenges in low-resource environments, with an emphasis on strengthening the “last mile” of healthcare delivery.

Great opportunity with a fantastic organisation, for an individual with a couple of years' humanitarian pharmacy experience. Role overview: Defining, coordinating and monitoring all pharmacy related activities in the project area including management of staff, according to MSF protocols, standards and procedures and the mission’s pharmacist and Medical Coordinator’s guidelines, in order to ensure the proper management and supply of drugs and medical devices.
